On September 28, 2020, the Valley Brach Watershed District (VBWD) Board of Managers submitted to the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources (BWSR) a proposed minor amendment to the VBWD 2015 – 2025 Watershed Management Plan to add projects to its CIP to include acquisition and removal of flood-prone properties.
On November 5, 2020, BWSR agreed that the VBWD’s proposed revisions constitute a minor plan amendment. The VBWD Managers then approved and adopted the minor plan amendment at their November 12, 2020 Board meeting. The only significant changes were made to the implementation table (Table 6-1).
